Tracy Neil and Tim Parker are both experienced professional musicians and have been working on the live music circuit for over 30 years. They met in 2019 and decided to get together to form Sundog Slide. Tracy Neil sings and plays various guitars, including slide; while Tim also sings and plays percussion, cajon and bass-drum. Together their sound has been described as “Greater than the sum of their parts”. The duo produces a full band sound yet retains a small footprint. This gives them a large amount of flexibility when it comes to playing in different spaces. They are happy on large stages and can easily adapt to smaller more intimate venues and events. One of the distinctive qualities that Sundog Slide has, that sets them apart from the usual, is their on-stage dialogue and audience inclusive banter that helps create a relaxed and playful atmosphere. Apart from giving the best performance they can, next at the top of the list, is knowing that the audience and guests are the most important part of any show.
