SUNDOG SLIDE  song list

Sundog Slide play a whole array of eclectic classic covers spanning genres and decades. There’s something for everyone in the set and all the songs are performed in our own unique and upbeat fashion. It’s a little difficult to put a label onto what genre of music we belong to but if you think along the lines of folk-rock and country-blues you’ll be heading in the right direction.

We often get asked “What material do you play?” The answer usually makes most people smile, which is something we like. This question has prompted us to make a list of the covers that we perform so that you can get an idea of the kind of thing to expect at one of our gigs.

The list below is not complete or necessarily in the order that we play them in and is always being added to and developed. A lot of the songs we play have been put through the creative Sundog Slide filter and quite often come out the other side sounding nothing like the original. This is all part of our unique selling point and adds to the fun.

In the list we’ve put the song title, the author (if known), someone famous who’s covered it and approximately what kind of style we play it in.
